Pardon me for the extended Hiatus. I would feel obliged to make some sort of excuse, but alas, that would assume anyone really cared.

So here's a painting I did for practice, and eventually gave to my sister. In my character design work, I don't get to experiment with BG, props, and Color too often. So these watercolors are a fun exercises.

As a painter, I am still very much a student, and am not ashamed to admit that I "borrow" from artists that inspire me. In this case, the victim was Norman Rockwell. . . which begs the question "why do I even try?"

The Jim Feeley blog has new blood, and thee blood doth be strong!

I took a brief look to see what you borrowed from Norman, but I failed to make any direct connections, other than a wonderfully rich characterization and personality.

No LOL here, pal!
